These tropical pineapple mango popsicles are the perfect way to cool down on a hot day. They’re made with just a few simple & fresh ingredients, and are perfectly sweet and creamy. Plus, they’re completely refined sugar free!
Since most of us probably haven’t been doing any traveling lately, I thought I’d bring all the tropical flavors right to you with these fresh pineapple mango popsicles!
These are seriously my favorite way to cool down in the summer (alongside my favorite banana ice cream) and aren’t loaded with refined sugar like some store bought brands. All you need is some fresh pineapple, mango, your choice of yogurt and a few optional ad-ins like lime juice and maple syrup.
The pineapple mango combination is sweet, tangy and so refreshing. These take only about 5 minutes to prep and an annoying 6 hours of freeze time, but I promise it will be SO worth it!
You can easily get away with using just the pineapple and mango if that’s all you have. The other ingredients enhance the flavor, but those two are the center of attention.
Key Ingredients
Mango. I suggest fresh, ripe mangoes for this recipe. If you use frozen, I would let them thaw before blending because you don’t want an icy texture. I love ataulfo mangoes because they have a smoother texture than other varieties, but whatever you have will work!
Pineapple. Again, I suggest using fresh pineapple for this recipe to prevent an icy texture. Try to find pineapple that is ripe and bright yellow in color for the best flavor!
Yogurt. I use a dairy free vanilla greek style yogurt (from Kite Hill) for this recipe, but any kind of yogurt will work fine. Dairy, non-dairy, vanilla, unsweetened, sweetened, whatever you have!
Honey. Just a few tablespoons of honey to sweeten! You can sub for maple syrup for a vegan option as well.
Lime. Fresh lime juice rounds out the tropical flavors in the recipe and give a bit of tang!
Instructions
Add all ingredients to a high speed blender or food processor.
Process until completely smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness as desired. The fruit of course adds lots of sweetness as is, but if you like them more sweet, some extra honey is delicious.
Transfer to a popsicle mold and fill just below the top. Insert the popsicle sticks.
Place in the freezer for at least 6 hours. Enjoy!
Frequently Asked Questions
Do they keep? The beauty of frozen things is that they keep really well! These will be good in the freezer for up to 3 months. Try to keep them sealed away from the air so they don’t get icy.
Do you need special molds? I highly recommend using a proper popsicle mold for this recipe, but if you don’t have them, you can always place these in a small plastic or paper cup and add the sticks right in there. They’ll be a funky shape but will taste just the same!
Are they vegan? Yes! I used Kite Hill Greek Style Yogurt which is dairy free to keep these mango popsicles vegan, but you are welcome to use whatever yogurt you like. I suggest a vanilla one for the best flavor, but honestly, anything works in this recipe.
How long do they take to freeze? To be safe and ensure they’re completely frozen when you pull them out of the mold, you want to give these popsicles a solid 6 hours in the freezer.
There unfortunately isn’t really a way to speed up this process, but if you make these before bed, they’ll be ready to go in the morning!

I made these and how wonderful they are! Instead of adding vanilla, I added vanilla flavored greek yogurt. I followed the rest of the recipe as written. We have a mango tree and grow pineapples so it is a fantastic way of using our bounty for a refreshing treat after our walks in the morning.
